Far in the future, humanity is migrating to the moon and had settled themselves. This advancement creates opportunities, but also new problems since those born on the moon aren't exactly welcomed on earth. Episode 1 follows the story of Haru, a young boy who born and raised on the Moon. Like most people on the moon, Haru decides he's had it with working-class life, and wants to become a billionaire by playing the stock markets. Unfortunately, an incident at the local cafe forced him to escape from police, until he runs into Lisa, a friendly church owner who gives him room and board. Haru is not alone, there's another teenage runaway named Hagana who's also taken up residence with Lisa. World End Economica is a three part visual novel developed by Spicy Tails and Isuna Hasekura, the author of a Japanese light novel series Oukami to Koushinryou (Spice and Wolf). The original Japanese version was released at Comiket 80, on August 11, 2013; followed by the English version released by Sekai project in 2013.
