At the end of the first episode Haru lost all of his assets in stock markets, and it was impossible for him to realize his dream. Four years have passed since the incident. After wallowing in depression for far too long, with the helping hand from his friends and family he picks himself, but life is not happy since his monumental failure. One day Haru receives an invitation back into the world of investing after Chris introduces him to Eleanor Schweitzer, a rich noblewoman, who offers him a job in her investment firm for his impressive track record. World End Economica is a three part visual novel developed by Spicy Tails and Isuna Hasekura, the author of a Japanese light novel series Oukami to Koushinryou (Spice and Wolf). The original Japanese version was released at Comiket 82, on August 11, 2012; followed by the English version released by Sekai project in 2015.
